it all came together... the wedding of h+h; from its inception, to the mountaintop ceremony (complete with a mango sorbet champagne toast and family dinner at maya, to the reception. invitations were of course produced by rock paper scissors (and designed by none other than dani antol), letterpressed on 220# crane's lettra with custom liners and letterpressed wallpaper backing! jen maton of if so inklined generously offered to do the calligraphy, and it was truly stunning! (and most photos you see here by Susan Kalergis of Susan Kalergis Photography.)
since you're already getting a glimpse of them... let's talk flowers! Wendy Burns of Woodmont Designs is incredibly talented. she worked with my preference for minimalist and natural... i wish we had a good picture of it, but the bark wrap around my bridal bouquet tied with twine, was just perfect! (vases available at rock paper scissors)
h+h wedding bands were purchased from Angelo Jewelry. (note: engagement ring is a family ring made for the grooms mother as a replica of her mother's engagement ring)
bite size niblets were made by Ashley & Carter East of Dinner at Home. The mango-cucumber summer rolls with spicy peanut sauce and mini crab cakes were a big hit. And let's just say that the key lime white chocolate squares and very berry cheese cakes didn't last very long...! coordinating signage and napkins provided by rock paper scissors.
so it's a good thing we had extra chocolates on hand... boxes made by the groom's box manufacturing company, hh elements, chocolates kindly donated by both William Dean (shown L to R: key lime, peanut butter & jelly, and rosemary caramel) and Eclat (shown L to R: Vanilla, Champagne, Dark Caramel). blue frame from partridge & grace.
you may have read about how paper inspired rock... this *awesome* gift from Dani completed my look... unbenounced to me, she had sent jewelry designer Erin McDermott the design of my wedding invitation and asked her to create earrings... could they be more perfect?
guests seem to have the most fun getting in front of the photo frame -- gold frame and foam core from partridge & grace "wallpaper" and assembly by rock paper scissors!
but it's possible the kids had even more fun playing with umbrellas in the rain! they say it brings good luck, right?!
well, either way, it was an incredible event... and the bride & groom are thrilled to be taking steps toward their future. thanks to all vendors involved and to our friends & family for making it so special! Dani especially, thanks for all of your hard work and creative design!!
all images (minus the chocolates and this one below) were captured by Susan Kalergis of Susan Kalergis Photography. Thank you Susan - you did an amazing job! Any bride would be lucky to have you as their photographer!
Fabulous! Loved reliving the day! Thanks again, Love, Mom

Wonderful website. I especially liked the idea for the bird window, but my second vote is for the nautical window. Keep up the good work.
